Louis Bouchard, also known as "Sweet Lou", passed away surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and love.
Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Louis was the son of Joseph and Doreen Bouchard. From an early age, he carried both a sharp mind and a kind heart, traits that would define his life.
Louis pursued his law degree at Cumberland School of Law, building a respected career as an attorney. His dedication, intelligence, and compassion guided him through both his professional life and his personal relationships.
Louis shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Margaret Bouchard. Together, they built a family filled with love and resilience, raising two children, Joseph Bouchard and Brittney Bouchard, who will carry forward his wisdom, warmth, and legacy. He was an amazing father who cared deeply for his family and gave his children a truly wonderful life.
Louis also leaves behind his cherished niece Eve Bouchard Ditz, his brother Gary Bouchard, and his cousin Rita Wood—along with countless friends who became like family.
Known for his humor, generosity, and intellect, Louis touched everyone he met. He had an unmatched love for sports—cheering passionately for basketball, football, and especially his Green Bay Packers.
Louis Bouchard will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for his ability to make people feel valued, loved, and seen. His laughter, stories, and generous heart will be carried in our hearts forever.
